Ich Bin Ein Brooklyner - Women's Tee

37.00

Design:

When JFK said at the Berlin wall, "Ich bin ein Berliner!" in front of thousands of West Germans, he meant it as a show of solidarity. It instead became an infamous gaffe, as he erred on the grammar: "ein" Berliner refers to a jelly doughnut. Our shirt is a facetious Brooklyn take on that moment in history. Its stencil design is not unlike Berlin wall graffiti, or the "Post No Bills" stencils seen at construction sites around the city. A favorite, we hope you enjoy this Magdalena Concepts original.

Shirt:

An extra-soft women's crew neck in white and red stripe with deep blue lettering. The shirt is cut to be flattering, not masculine, with an easy vintage feel. That washed-a-thousand-times softness will make this a favorite go-to piece. Signature tag riveted at the back of the neck. Cut for adult women, runs true to size. Ethically manufactured. Hand-printed in Brooklyn, NY.

Material:

50% Polyester, 38% Cotton, 12% Rayon, part organic, part recycled. Hand-printed in Brooklyn.

Sarah is 5'4" and a size 2/4; she is wearing a size Small.
