shirts that donate
As a part of our philosophy of giving back, we donate shirts that don’t pass our tough quality control standards. We regularly link select designs to nonprofits that support global education initiatives. You can be confident that our contributions reach the cause without getting lost in bureaucracy: the charities and nonprofits we work with have a proven track record of transparency and effectiveness in reaching their goals. Recently, we are partnered with Stand for Education, a foundation supporting education in South Sudan, where thanks to decades of war and unrest, the illiteracy rate stands at a staggering 80% for men, and 90% for women. Stand for Education is unique in the extreme care they take in ensuring that whatever assistance they introduce to the local economy is sustainable. Learn more about their fantastic work at www.stand4education.org.
Roça da Sabina: In 2011, we donated 70 shirts to kids in a favela (or slum) in Salvador, Brazil. We're gathering more shirts for another similar donation.
Gua Africa: For over two years, we donate 10% of sales of designated designs to Gua Africa, a nonprofit that builds elementary schools in South Sudan. Gua Africa also funds scholarships for ex-child soldiers and refugees who otherwise would be forced to drop out of school. Learn more about their fantastic work.
help us give more
We’re on the lookout for more organizations and causes to support, and more ways to recycle and reduce waste. We appreciate any tips you might have on nonprofits and charities that advocate on behalf of education and other social causes. Please note that we do not contribute to religious charities or political campaigns. Email us your ideas any time. Thanks!
